    Metro Transit provides local bus service for the Minneapolis area. For visitors to the area, they offer twenty-four-hour a day passes for the exploration of the Twin Cities. Metro Transit operates the Hiawatha light-rail line and 129 bus routes, using a fleet of 878 buses.

    Duluth Transit Authority

    The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) provides regular route and STRIDE (Special Transit Ride) services in the cities of Duluth , Proctor, and Superior. The DTA operates 43 buses during peak hours on 26 routes. All DTA buses are wheelchair accessible and seasonally equipped with bike racks.

    The Port Town Trolley loops through the downtown and waterfront attractions, with departures offered every thirty minutes during the summer season. It is run by the Duluth Transit Authority.

    St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission
    The Metro Transit Commission (MTC) services the areas of St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell and Waite Park. A fixed route/schedule operates Monday through Saturday, with the exception of Sartell Saturday service, which is only dial-a-ride. Sunday service to all cities is dail-a-ride only.
